When we think about the City of Lights, what comes to mind first is its joie de vivre and frenetic pace of life (admittedly, a little less frenetic during lockdown). However, for those who know where to look (and know how to appreciate it), it’s possible to find that very special village vibe, worthy of the most picturesque settlements in the French countryside, right in the heart of the capital. If you fancy getting away from it all without having to take the Paris-Gargilesse train, why not opt for a gentle ride through these four Parisian ‘villages’!
